Dr Adrian qualified from Aberdeen University, UK in 2000. He continued his postgraduate ophthalmic training in Peterborough, Edinburgh and Dundee. This was followed by advance Corneal, External eye diseases and Refractive surgery fellowship training in Newcastle with Prof Francisco Figueireido and Liverpool with Prof Stephen Kaye and Mr Mark Batterbury (Glaucoma advance training). He obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Royal College of Ophthalmologist, UK and General Medical Council, UK in 2012.

He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented scientific papers in Europe and USA.

He has held the position of Consultant Ophthalmologist at St Paul’s Eye Unit, Royal Liverpool University Hospital for 2 years where he was lead for the Cataract and Refractive services prior to returning back to Malaysia after 18 years.
