For International Patients At ISEC we treat many patients who come from outside of Malaysia. Our receptionists are fluent in English, Chinese, Bahasa, and Tamil. It is important that you first make a prior appointment before coming to ISEC. You may also want to select the doctor that deals with your problem, for example, retinal disease or corneal disease, etc. Our receptionist may be able to help you with this. Please bring along your old medical reports/scans for our reference. Some nationalities would require a Visa to enter Malaysia. Should you need a letter from our doctor for Visa application, we can fax/email you a copy upon request. |

Getting to ISEC You will have to make your own flight arrangement to fly into either Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), or the LCCT or Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. From there, the easiest way to get directly to ISEC is to take a taxi (purchase coupons from airport taxi counter. The cost is about USD 22 per trip for budget taxis). This trip will take approximately 45 minutes. There are also airport buses or train services from KLIA to KL Sentral station. From there, you can switch to the KTM commuter train heading to MidValley station to get to ISEC @ Mid Valley (1-stop away from KL Sentral train station) or you could get on the Putra LRT to get to ISEC @ Ampang station.

For example, if you have cataract only, you may require 2 nights stay in Kuala Lumpur. A complex retinal case may require a minimum of 3 nights.
